The charm and magic oasis of Punte Alberete leaving those who visit an unforgettable memory.
This is a wetland freshwater of about 190 hectares consisting of a flooded forest (the only example left in the area) of farnie, alders, poplars, willows and ash.
The forest can be visited by following a footpath ring, sometimes overhanging wooden bridges with explanatory signs for the recognition of species of plants and animals present inside the oasis. True paradise for birdwatching, allows you to watch the birds from the screened panels and huts along the route.
Entrance is free from sunrise to sunset, with ample parking (not guarded) available for visitors which is accessed directly from the highway Romea, just south of the channel Fossatone. We recommend some protection against mosquitoes, especially at sunset.
To visit the oasis by bike, follow the white road closed to traffic that surrounds it on three sides (Route 3) and return from the path inside S. Vitale pine forest.
